is a second-generation female builder based in Fairfield County. She was born into a family with a strong connection to the construction of homes. Growing up, her grandfather was a mason and her mother converted old barns into modern farm houses. After graduating from UCONN and spending some time on Wall Street post-grad, Robertson returned to her roots and has been building and designing homes ever since. She is renowned for her craft and consideration of today’s way of living. She also renovates existing houses, including restoration of historic homes, and has won the Home Builders & Remodelers Association of Connecticut HOBI Award for outstanding remodel of a home in the Northeast (in the town of Essex). As a mother of three, Megan brings a unique perspective to the table when considering how homes should flow and function. She puts thought into where today’s family spends time, and how space should be considered in design. When asked how she approaches homes, Robertson revealed, “I design the way I like to live.” Big kitchens with plenty of storage, great rooms built off the kitchen with a fireplace, large mud-rooms that function, places for kids to do homework, and with office space to conveniently work from home. While some of Megan’s homes share similar features, she is committed to never building the same house twice. She has a sense for what families want, and what families need. Everything she builds is with intention. Easy to work with, Megan is comfortable taking the reins on a project but also enjoys working one on one with clients to customize features, fixtures, and spaces that work best for them.
